Organisers of Berkhamsted’s ‘Pitch Perfect’ fundraising concert are delighted to announce that actor Adrian Scarborough - star of The Kings Speech, Gosford Park and most recently Upstairs, Downstairs - will host the event which takes place on Sunday 24th June.
The Laurence Olivier Award winner and local Berkhamsted resident will compere the evening of light opera and jazz which will raise vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Berkhamsted Cricket Club.
Scarborough said, “I am very honoured to host this special event. Great Ormond Street Hospital does some truly amazing things for thousands of sick children each year and I hope we raise as much money as possible so it can continue its fantastic work”.
Berkhamsted Cricket Club Member Phillip Brown who will be leading the Three Tenors performance at the event said, “I am delighted to have Adrian’s participation to help us further raise the profile of the event. As Great Ormond Street Hospital is such a magnificent institution we are hoping the event will raise lots of money for such a worthy cause.”

Doors open at 3.30pm and the show begins at 5.00pm. Tickets are £15 per person and under 16’s are free.
