Trisha Buller, salon Director at the award winning salon Cienté, based in Berkhamsted has joined forces with The Hairdressing Council and members including Andrew Barton and Trevor Sorbie to become a State Registered Senior Hairdresser.
Like her fellow council members Trisha is aware of the importance in supporting the campaign for raising standards and professionalism in the hairdressing industry. As a registered Trichologist, assessor, mentor, educator to her team and stylist herself with over 30 years experience Trisha says of Joining the campaign, " I am completely passionate about raising the standards in the hairdressing industry. As an assessor, salon owner and trichologist I see, all too often, low standards and bad attitudes, because of lack of training and support from mentors or unqualified salon owners. Having been in the industry for over 30 years, I have seen so many changes. However, my passion is to share my knowledge and coach people within this industry. That excites and inspires me as much today as It did 36 years ago".
Sally Styles from the Hair Council and who is heading this campaign said, "It is wonderful when people like Trisha, who is committed to raising standards within hairdressing, become state registered. She has shown her support to the campaign for registration by actually joining the register herself. Trisha really cares about where the industry is going and understands we need to have a united voice to Government".
