From the moment you first enter the Cienté salon you will notice what makes the Cienté Experience different from any other salon you’ve been to before.

The first thing that will strike you is how warm, friendly, attentive and yet highly professional all of our staff members are. This is because we believe in treating our clients exactly how we prefer to be treated ourselves, and that means always being polite, respectful and empathetic.

You’ll also notice that we don’t have a waiting area with comfy sofas and a coffee table covered in magazines. This is because we endeavour to see you at your appointed time. We don’t believe in keeping you waiting.

However once you have been booked in, greeted by your stylist, and escorted to your styling station we will offer you magazines and refreshments, and if there is anything else that will make your visit more comfortable or enjoyable, please ask.

From this point onwards everything else that you experience will be dictated by our three guiding principles – We listen, We care and We deliver.

We listen

Your stylist will now begin your consultation. You are encouraged to be as open and honest as possible about what you want to happen, and to tell us all of your needs and concerns. Everything you have to say will be noted and taken into account. Your stylist will then use all of his or her knowledge, experience and expertise to suggest a course of action that must be agreed upon by the both of you before proceeding to the next stage.

We care

Every head of hair is different which is why the salon assistant will be instructed by your stylist exactly as to which specialised products to use when washing your hair. Your salon assistant will then ensure that you are comfortably positioned at the washing station and that the water is at a comfortable temperature before beginning the most sublime and relaxing hair wash and head massage you will have ever experienced. Would you prefer a firmer massage, or a gentler one? Just let your assistant know.

We deliver

When seated back at your styling station your stylist will then create the look you have decided upon. How you wish to spend this time is completely up to you. If you want to sit back and relax, read a magazine, drink a coffee or just chat, it’s your choice. Your stylist will put you first and will be attentive and sensitive to your needs. Remember that this is your time and your stylist is there for you and you alone.

Before the styling is complete we must be satisfied that you are completely happy with the result. We will tell you everything you need to know to maintain your style, and we will recommend techniques and products to keep your hair healthy and in perfect condition until your next visit.

If at any stage you have any questions or concerns we will happily address them. We genuinely care about your hair, your appearance and your Cienté Experience. We would much rather you tell us if you are not happy about anything at all, and have the chance to put it right, than you keep it to yourself and we never find out.

By the end of your Cienté Experience we’re sure you’ll be relaxed, happy and absolutely thrilled by the way you look, but most importantly we know that you will be able to maintain this look until your next appointment, and you’ll be dying to tell everyone else about your time with us.
